title: Memories from Perak...

time:7:14 PM hey. came back from perak yesterday night. lasted for 4 days and 4 nights. thats more like it.rewind all the way back from the start.12th of June 2007
met ernest and took taxi to fetch hafizah. waited for jian wei for hours. no signs of him. so we just go to school. met jian wei there and scolded him for being a total ass. fizah forgot to bring the most important thing in the world and called her mum for it. so we had a short briefing and headed for the malaysia. long long long trip there. lasted for like maybe around 12 hours?? at around 6 like that we reached perak!! woohoo... its a place where u can enjoy and have fun with nature. more like the country life which so rock. went to lata kijang waterfall... the currents was strong... we didnt dare to slide down at first coz there were like super a lot of rocks there and we didnt want to get hurt on the first day but people who lived there gave us some encouragement and taught us how to slide down. so thrilling and super fun. you rock people!!
one hour passed, we then head for our campsite in a lorry. its more like kampong life. those who wants to shower had to do it openly but of course not in front of the guys. met our instructors, Lydia, Claude and some other peeps which their names i do not know.we then have our dinner and go to sleep. we sleep in huts. it was ok. quite comfortable. didnt sleep well that night though since my nose didnt feel good and my throat was killing me.13th of June 2007had to wake up at 7.30am for breakfast. had morning activity and was divided into two groups. Group A went for caving first while Group B which have me inside went for White Water Rafting first.
White Water Rafting was super duper fun!! had a short briefing first before going into the water. we were then asked to lie down in the water with Claude holding us and then he let go of us and we got washed away by the strong river currents. so we had to try to swim back to shore with the lifejackets on. those who didnt succeed was brought back by a rope. Group B was then further divided into four groups. one boat and one instructor to a group. in my group there was Evina, Lewis and Aspel (i hope i spelled that correctly) and of course Me. we got Claude as our instructor and a blue boat!! so we raft and raft and raft until we came to this part of the river. Claude asked us which part of the river do u want to go to, the easy one, the not so easy one or the killer one. we chose the killer one. haha. it was super duper scary. the currents was really really strong and we have to hold on tight. Claude said that even he could fall off the boat and yeah, he almost did. in fact, he flew out of his seat and landed on lewis. he was telling me to give him the paddle but i didnt hear so he just snatched it out from my hand and ouch!! it so hurt... scary, but thrilling. we had a break and some of us had some oreos. one of the other instructors i heard said to claude, what happen to you, i saw u fly like superman. haha. so we continued of rafting and talk and talk and talk. we were just telling stories and talked about the places we want to go... haha and claude said something about my face having interesting features and about me not looking like a malay... haha!! so yeah when we reached our stop, we met the caving people there. i mean all in the river. haha. so fun!! had our lunch and switched activities. so Group A went for White Water Rafting and Group B went for Caving. Caving is super cool. we walked through small tunnels and climbed here and there. the place was dark but we had our torch with us. we were led by Lydia and this other instructor which his name i dont know. we climb and climb and climb and we went up and up and up. we then reached the flying fox area. so cool!! we had to fly from cave to cave. so very very fun. waited for everybody to finish flying and we head to go back down. and woah!! going up is ok but going down is not easy people. the rocks are slippery and the ground was soft. but i succeeded. by the time i reached the lorry which brings us back to our campsite, i was super dirty and muddy. when, we reached to our campsite, i went to the river and played there with all of my friends. kun kit and doyle splashed lydia like crazy with their caps... haha. funny funny. we then had to go to shower and by then i had a terrible flu and a terrible headache. cooked some of our dinner dishes ourselves. i think its delicious although i cant taste anything due to my blocked nose. so when we're done with our stuff, we went to sleep. slept well that night with my high fever. hahas.
14th of June 2007first thing in the morning, we had to pack our bags since we're leaving the campsite and head for our next activity. so its like goodbye campsite. so sad. the people we met there are really nice... our next activity was high ropes course, rock climbing and abseiling. started with high ropes course. there were five elements altogether. kinda scary but fun!! hahas. last element was another flying fox. this time is from tree to tree. fun fun fun!! then we had our lunch first and swap activities with the other group... then we had rock climbing. rock climbing was woah!! challenging yo... its kinda hard to find the right spot to put ir hands and legs... hahas. but it rock!! then we had abseiling... it rocked!! hahaha. i missed all the activities already. soon, its like 5 plus already. so all of us got ready to head to Kuala Lumpur for our hotel stay. saying goodbye to our instructors and especially Perak was not at all easy... took pictures for memories... journey to Kuala Lumpur lasted for like maybe 3 hours?? hahas. sleep sleep and sleep. finally we reached KL and headed to MinMax restaurant. food there was nice. hahas. so then we head for our 3 star hotel... haha. 3 star only. its called Prescott Inn. on the way there, big jam man. when we reach the hotel, went for shower. the hotel there wasnt that bad as i expected it to be. hahas. then some of us gather plan to go out of the hotel and venture around. went here and there. got a small conflict among us but already settled. then something funny happened. hazimah, fizah and my roomate, slept and locked herself in the room. so fizah and me cant possibly get in. haha. so in the end we slept in one of the rooms where there is Shannan, Doyle, Fizah and Me. haha. then doyle keep on making prank calls to the other rooms. haha. saying indian stuff. he was like hyper that night. then he said, i'll be an alarm clock every 5 minutes. not even 5 minutes, more like 5 seconds. he kept smacking me with the pillow. haha. it was a good massage though. we then watched television for a while and doze off at 4am. haha. shannan and doyle on one bed and fizah and me on one bed. haha. and that night, lots of people vomited and got very sick. and me, i got flu.15 of June 2007woke up 3 and a half hours later. fizah and me banged on our hotel door room hoping that she would open the door and yeah she did. i went to shower. got ready for breakfast. the breakfast there was... erm... no comments. hahas. then we all went up the bus. some went to the doctor. doctor said it maybe food poisoning or dengue fever. lots of people were sick. so then we head to this chocolate factory. the chocolates there was like yum!! especially the durian chocolate but expensive. bought this strawberry chocolate for my parents. the we go to Sunway Pyramid for shopping. so we shop and shop and shop. i bought 1 Padini shirt, 1 random shirt, 1 pair of Converse shoes. i also bought keychains for both my sisters with their name on it. and some more stuff. ate lunch in the bus and head for Singapore. we had a few stops on the way where students of new town vomit. almost the whole bus was down with an illness. as for me, i still got flu. when we passed the Singapore customs, a lot of us had bubble gums with us inside our pockets. haha. and we made it through!! woohoo...10pm. we reached New Town Secondary School. took taxi with Eugene and then reached home sweet home. hugged my family members, told some stories and give out the presents. then my elder sis and me went to the 24 hour clinic. haha yeah. got back home, ate medicine and go to sleep.aah!! i'm missing Perak!!!Bye!! Perak is Love...
